[04-08-2026] Santa Barbara County, CA – Minor Injuries Reported in Head-On Collision at Hollister Ave. and Los Carneros Rd.

A partial head-on collision resulted in minor injuries in Goleta on Wednesday morning, April 8, 2026.

According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department Capt. Mike Gray, emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Hollister Avenue and Los Carneros Road around 9:53 a.m. 

The crash caused heavy traffic to back up along Los Carneros Road toward UC Santa Barbara.

Two cars were towed from the scene, and additional information was not immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing.
