[04-05-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – Scooter Rider Killed in Collision with Vehicle in Morgan Hill

A scooter rider was killed in a collision involving a vehicle in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County, on Sunday night, April 5, 2026.

According to Morgan Hill police, officers responded to the scene at around 8 p.m. on the 14000 block of Monterey Road after receiving reports of the crash.

Upon arrival, officers found the rider suffering from significant injuries. Despite efforts from officers and emergency medical personnel to provide aid, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and it is not yet known if alcohol or drug impairment was a factor.
