[04-01-2026] Fresno County, CA – Man Airlifted To Hospital After DUI Crash Involving Quad and Pickup Truck Near Anchor and Floral Ave.

A man was airlifted to the hospital after a pickup truck struck him while he was riding a quad in Fresno County on Wednesday evening, April 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6 p.m. near Anchor and Floral avenues when the quad rider swerved into the southbound lane, where a Toyota pickup truck was driving.

Despite the Toyota driver’s attempt to brake and avoid the collision, the two vehicles collided.

The 20-year-old victim was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries. The driver of the Toyota was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence but has not been identified.

The crash remains under investigation by CHP.
