[03-25-2026] Tuolumne County, CA – Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Highway 49 in Tuttletown.webpTwo people were injured in a three-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 49 in the Tuttletown area of Tuolumne County on Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 7:35 a.m. south of Sapphire Ridge Road, blocking the roadway and causing significant traffic delays.

22-year-old Christian G. of Sacramento was driving a 2022 Ford F250 towing a trailer southbound when he attempted to make a left turn into the Lakeside Inn Gas station. He failed to yield to oncoming traffic and turned directly into the path of 17-year-old Joseph S. of Murphys, who was driving a 2004 Toyota Highlander northbound with a 15-year-old passenger.

The collision caused the Toyota to overturn, and debris struck the 2015 Volvo sedan driven by 59-year-old Brinda D., which was behind Joseph.

Joseph and his passenger suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported, and alcohol or drugs were not factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
