[03-17-2026] Riverside County, CA – Juvenile Critically Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle Near Temecula Valley High School.webpA juvenile was critically injured after being struck by a car near Temecula Valley High School on Tuesday afternoon, March 17, 2026.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched to Margarita Road and Rancho Vista Road at around 3:30 p.m. 

Upon arrival, deputies found the unresponsive juvenile in the roadway. The victim was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby landing zone, where an airship flew the child to Loma Linda Hospital in critical condition just before 5 p.m.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No arrests have been made, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
