[03-10-2026] Imperial County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle on East Main St. in El Centro

A pedestrian was fatally injured in a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident in El Centro on Tuesday night, March 10, 2026.

According to El Centro Police, officers responded to the scene at about 9:00 p.m. on East Main Street and Fairfield Drive and found an unresponsive man in the roadway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is cooperating with investigators. Police reported that there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
