[03-08-2026] San Joaquin County, CA – Multiple People Severely Injured in Head-On Crash in Lockeford

Several people were left with severe injuries following a head-on crash in Lockeford, San Joaquin County, early Sunday morning, March 8, 2026.

The Mokelumne Rural Fire District responded to the crash at around 3:17 a.m. in the area of Brandt Road and Highway 88. Firefighters worked to extricate the victims from the vehicles involved in the collision.

Multiple individuals were reported to have sustained severe injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
