According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 1:41 p.m. at South Clark Road and West Heber Road.

Authorities stated that the collision involved at least two vehicles, including a gray Hyundai Santa Fe, which were left disabled in the roadway. Fire crews quickly arrived and began assessing those involved in the crash.

CHP logs indicated that at least one person, with injuries still unknown, was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
