[02-25-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Lynwood.webpAuthorities are searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision in Lynwood late Wednesday night, February 25, 2026.

Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Sheriff’s Department arrived around 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of North Alameda Street and East Dixon Street, where they found a pedestrian who had been struck. Despite their attempts to save the victim, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim, only identified as “John Doe,” is believed to have been experiencing homelessness. Investigators have not yet identified the vehicle involved and have no suspect or vehicle description available.

The incident remains under investigation.
