[02-24-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Three People Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Downtown LA.webpThree people were injured in a hit-and-run crash when a driver struck several parked vehicles in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday night, February 24, 2026.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near 7th Street and South Hope Street outside the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles. 

The car was traveling south on Hope Street when it made a sharp left turn, crossed into oncoming traffic, and collided with a row of parked vehicles. 

Three people sitting inside one of the parked cars were injured and taken to the hospital in unknown condition. A female passenger in the suspect’s vehicle was also injured and transported to a hospital.

Witnesses reported that the driver initially fled the scene but later returned and was arrested. 

The cause of the crash and whether impairment played a role are still under investigation.
