[02-23-2026] Fresno County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Garbage Truck Southwest of Selma

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a garbage truck southwest of Selma, Fresno County, on Monday afternoon, February 23, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred before 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Temperance and Clemenceau avenues. 

The motorcyclist was attempting to pass the garbage truck as it turned left when the collision occurred. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The CHP is investigating the crash.
