According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Moonstone Beach Drive near Stafford Drive when a truck crashed into a tree.

The driver of the truck, 19-year-old Diego G. of Cambria, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing an accident that resulted in injuries, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office booking log.
