[02-10-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Pickup Truck in Hesperia

A 23-year-old motorcyclist, Patrick T., was fatally injured in a crash with a pickup truck in Hesperia on Tuesday morning, February 10, 2026.

The collision occurred at around 11:47 a.m. on Phelan Road, west of Highway 395, near the new Amazon warehouse. The crash involved a black 2005 Buell motorcycle and a silver GMC 2500 pickup truck.

A Good Samaritan attempted to perform CPR on the motorcyclist until deputies arrived and took over lifesaving efforts. Unfortunately, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcycle sustained severe damage, coming to a stop near the centerlines of the road, with parts scattered across both directions of travel. The pickup truck, which had front-end damage, was found partially off the roadway in the eastbound lanes of Phelan Road. 

Both the driver and an adult female passenger of the pickup truck were uninjured.

The driver remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with authorities.
