[02-06-2026] San Diego County, CA – Pedestrian Injured After Hit-and-Run at Broadway and E St in Chula Vista.webpA pedestrian suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Chula Vista on Friday night, February 6, 2026.

According to the Chula Vista Police Department, officers responded at around 10:00 p.m. to the intersection of Broadway and E Street after receiving reports of a pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle.

Police said a man believed to be in his 30s was struck by a black sedan with dark-tinted windows. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Broadway with an unknown number of occupants.

Authorities reported that the pedestrian was alert and oriented while speaking with officers before being transported by ambulance. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

No other injuries were reported. The hit-and-run remains under investigation.
