A woman suffered minor injuries following a collision involving a pickup truck and a semi-truck in Biggs, Butte County, on Saturday morning, February 7, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 99 and Biggs East Highway. CHP officers responded to the scene, along with CAL FIRE Butte Unit crews and emergency medical services.
Authorities stated that the pickup truck sustained major front-end damage and came to rest facing north in the southbound lanes of Highway 99 at the intersection. The semi-truck pulled over and stopped a short distance north of the intersection after the collision.
Officials reported that both the driver and passenger of the pickup truck were able to walk away from the collision. The female driver sustained minor injuries. The condition of the semi truck driver was not available.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
