One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash that resulted in a vehicle fire at an intersection in Hesperia on Friday afternoon, February 6, 2026.
According to San Bernardino County Fire and local law enforcement, the collision was reported at around 12:03 p.m. at the intersection of Locust Avenue and Willow Street. The crash involved a 2013 Ford Explorer and a 2025 Toyota Camry.
Firefighters responded to reports of a possible entrapment and arrived to find the Ford Explorer’s engine compartment on fire. Crews extinguished the flames and confirmed that no occupants were trapped.
Authorities said the Explorer sustained major front-end damage, while the Camry suffered significant damage to the driver’s side.
Officials reported that at least one male occupant of the Toyota Camry was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. His condition was not released.
The female driver of the Ford Explorer was detained at the scene, and authorities said the crash was being investigated as a possible driving under the influence violation.
The crash remains under investigation by the Hesperia Police Department.
