According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle crash was first reported at around 6:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 near Highway 166. 

Authorities said the collision involved three vehicles and led to traffic congestion in the area.

Later in the morning, at around 8:30 a.m., CHP reported a separate two-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 101 near Main Street, which also blocked traffic and contributed to continued delays.

No additional information regarding the crashes was immediately available. Authorities have not released details on whether any injuries were reported.

The incidents remain under investigation.
