[01-30-2026] San Diego County, CA – Suspected DUI Driver Arrested After Fleeing Three-Vehicle Crash in Fallbrook.webpA driver suspected of driving under the influence was arrested after fleeing the scene of a three-vehicle crash in Fallbrook, San Diego County, on Friday evening, January 30, 2026.

According to authorities, the collision was reported at around 6:59 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Avenue and East Fallbrook Street. 

The crash involved a blue sedan, a white sedan, and a dark-colored sedan. Initial reports described the incident as a non-injury collision, but it was later upgraded to a felony hit-and-run with injuries.

Witnesses at the scene stated that the driver of one of the vehicles fled on foot immediately following the crash. California Highway Patrol logs indicated that witnesses photographed the suspect vehicle’s license plate, which assisted officers during the investigation.

CHP officers located the suspected driver and took the individual into custody at around 8:01 p.m. The driver may face charges related to driving under the influence and felony hit-and-run.

North County Fire Protection District units, including Engine 111 and Rescue Ambulance 110, responded to the scene. The collision resulted in injuries, though the extent of those injuries was not immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.
