A woman was transported following a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in the Fallbrook area in San Diego County on Saturday afternoon, January 31, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 1:17 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 15 to State Route 76 connector.
Witnesses at the scene reported that a silver SUV with airbags deployed was located on the right shoulder, with at least two other vehicles stopped nearby.
Officials said it was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved or whether additional injuries occurred.
North County Fire Department units were dispatched to assist, and CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision involving unknown injuries. Authorities also noted reports that snakes were in containers inside one of the vehicles and that individuals were en route to retrieve and care for them. No further details regarding the animals were released.
The cause of the crash and the condition of those involved were not immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
