A woman and two children were injured after a parked vehicle they were sitting in was struck by a suspected drunk driver in the 1600 block of North Mollison Avenue in El Cajon on Saturday night, January 10, 2026.
According to the El Cajon Police Department, officers were dispatched around 8:15 p.m. to reports of a vehicle crashing into a house.
When officers arrived, they found that a vehicle had struck a gate, a tree, and a delivery vehicle parked at the residence. Authorities said a 59-year-old woman, a 7-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old girl, who were passengers in the delivery car, sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police said the delivery driver was not injured. The driver who caused the crash was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
