[12-10-2025] Driver Hospitalized After Suspected Hit-and-Run Involving Amazon Truck on Westbound 210 Freeway in AzusaA driver was hospitalized following a suspected hit-and-run crash involving a truck bearing an Amazon logo in Azusa late Wednesday night, December 10, 2025.

According to California Highway Patrol logs, the collision was reported around 11:35 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway near the Vernon exit,

Officials did not immediately confirm details of the crash, but footage from the scene showed a large semi-truck with Amazon Prime branding stopped against the right shoulder wall of the freeway with extensive front-end and passenger-side damage. The truck’s front bumper and grill were detached, and damage was also visible to a nearby brick wall and guardrail. 

Another vehicle, described as a dark-colored sedan, was also part of the investigation and was seen off the right side of the freeway with deployed airbags, a broken driver-side mirror, and at least one damaged tire.

Footage showed the truck driver being placed on a stretcher and taken to an ambulance, though the extent of the injuries was not immediately available. Witnesses reported seeing multiple individuals exit the sedan and flee the scene before leaving in another vehicle. Law enforcement officers were observed canvassing the area, and Amazon representatives stated the company was looking into the incident.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
