A woman was killed and a man was injured in a two-vehicle crash that shut down a stretch of Ridgecrest Road in Victorville on Thursday afternoon, November 13, 2025.
The collision was reported at approximately 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ridgecrest Road and Elmwood Drive. It involved a black Chevrolet Silverado and a gray Kia Seltos.
According to authorities, the woman driving the Kia was ejected during the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Sheriff’s officials later said the deceased was a 67-year-old female resident of Spring Valley Lake. The man driving the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Both drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles. Preliminary information indicated that the SUV was entering Ridgecrest Road from Elmwood Drive, which is controlled by a stop sign, when it was struck by the northbound truck. A witness reported that the Kia SUV rolled multiple times after the impact.
The identity of the deceased woman will be released pending notification of the next of kin. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
