One person was taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash in Goleta on Monday afternoon, November 3, 2025.
The crash occurred shortly after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Hollister Avenue and Los Carneros Road. According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department Capt. Scott Safechuck, an older model Mercedes, was traveling westbound on Hollister Avenue at a high rate of speed when it collided with several other vehicles.
Five vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver of the Mercedes sustained moderate injuries and was transported by American Medical Response ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. His name and condition were not available.
A female occupant of one of the other vehicles sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
The crash is under investigation by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
