[10-05-2025] Two Hit-and-Run Drivers Sought After Striking Pedestrian at Central Avenue and 14th Place in Downtown LADetectives with the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying two drivers involved in hit-and-run collisions that left a pedestrian injured in downtown Los Angeles on October 5, 2025.

According to police, the incidents occurred around 5:45 a.m. when a woman was crossing the street at Central Avenue and 14th Place. 

First, she was struck by a dark-colored SUV, possibly a 2018 to 2025 Ford Explorer. The driver did not stop after throwing the victim to the ground. Moments later, a blue SUV, possibly an older Honda CR-V, ran over the woman while she was lying on the ground. The second driver also fled without stopping to help.

The woman was taken to a hospital by LA Fire Department paramedics and is not suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Community members who provide information leading to the arrests and convictions of the drivers may be eligible for a reward of up to $25,000.
