A 32-year-old woman was killed while crossing Woodside Road at Veterans Boulevard in Redwood City early Monday morning, September 22, 2025.
According to police, the crash occurred just after midnight. The woman was transported to a local hospital after being struck but was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene, cooperated with investigators, and was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Police reported that the driver was traveling eastbound on Woodside Road toward Highway 101 and entering the intersection on a green light when the collision occurred. A witness stated that the woman was crossing with the signal and the traffic light had not changed before the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
