A bicyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Long Beach, on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the crash occurred around 12:45 p.m.at Pacific Coast Highway and Golden Avenue, near the Los Angeles River.
Preliminary reports indicate the vehicle was traveling westbound in the No. 2 lane of PCH when the bicyclist, riding in the far-right bicycle lane, attempted to turn southbound onto Golden Avenue and moved into the vehicle’s path, resulting in a rear-end collision.
The bicyclist was transported by ambulance to a hospital with stable vital signs. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the ongoing investigation.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
