[09-06-2025] Motorcycle Rider and Pedestrian Injured in Collision on Indian Trail East of Morongo RoadA motorcycle rider and a pedestrian were injured in a collision on Indian Trail east of Morongo Road in San Bernardino County on Saturday morning, September 6, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. when 33-year-old Chaz L. of Twentynine Palms, riding a 2024 Suzuki motorcycle, collided with a Toyota Camry and a 40-year-old male pedestrian. 

Both the rider and the pedestrian were transported to Desert Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

A DUI investigation revealed that the motorcyclist was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. The CHP is recommending felony charges of driving under the influence, causing injury. No arrests have been made at this time.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
