A pedestrian sustained minor injuries after a driver crashed into a restaurant in Visalia on Friday night, August 29, 2025.
According to Visalia police, officers first observed a white truck speeding before it collided with a parked car shortly before midnight. The truck fled the scene, later crashing into another parked car at the 500 block of North Church Street.
The vehicle then continued toward downtown Visalia, where it crashed into Sebby’s Restaurant, striking a pedestrian who was standing outside. Emergency personnel treated the pedestrian at the scene; injuries were reported as minor.
Police identified the driver as 23-year-old Miguel B.. He was arrested for driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, resisting arrest, and multiple reckless driving-related charges.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
