A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Anaheim on Saturday night, August 9, 2025.
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the collision happened shortly before midnight near the intersection of Knott and Orange Avenues.
Investigators determined that a 58-year-old man from Stanton was crossing Knott Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver did not stop and fled the scene. Surveillance footage captured a red or maroon sedan speeding away from the area.
Officers found the victim with severe injuries. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition and died three days later. His identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities said the suspect remains at large. The investigation into the crash continues.
