A two-vehicle crash caused significant traffic delays on Highway 89 near Olympic Valley in Placer County on Monday afternoon, June 23, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. near Alpine Meadows, just south of Olympic Valley.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and at least one lane was reportedly blocked. Caltrans cameras showed traffic at a complete stop in the area.
It is currently unclear whether any injuries were sustained in the collision. Authorities have not released further details, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
