According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Summit Valley Road and Foley Road in the unincorporated area just outside of Hesperia.

CHP logs indicated that four vehicles were involved in the crash, including a FedEx box truck, a sedan, a pickup truck, and a work truck.

San Bernardino County coroner’s officials responded to the scene to take custody of the deceased.
