A 67-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle in San Francisco’s Richmond District early Monday morning, June 2, 2025.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 12:05 a.m. in the area of Geary Boulevard and Second Avenue.
Officers arrived to find the pedestrian, who was then transported to a hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Police stated that impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
