One person was killed and another suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 99 in Tulare County on Thursday evening, May 15, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred just after 6:00 p.m. north of Avenue 384. A UPS truck reportedly veered to the left and collided with an SUV and a sedan.
The impact sent the truck into the center divider’s concrete wall. The driver of the UPS truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver was uninjured, while the driver of the sedan sustained minor injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash and working to determine whether drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.
