According to the Thousand Oaks Sheriff’s Station, deputies responded to the scene near Harvest Moon/Heritage Community Park shortly after 4:00 p.m. 

Authorities confirmed that a man and a woman in one vehicle were killed, while a man in the second vehicle sustained injuries, was transported to a hospital, and later released.

The incident remains under investigation.
