A 36-year-old motorcyclist, identified as John S. of Apple Valley, was killed following a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Monday evening, April 28, 2025.
According to the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station, the crash occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Mohawk Road, south of Cibola Road.
Authorities said a Honda CRF50F motorcycle pulled out of a driveway to turn south onto Mohawk Road and entered the path of a northbound Toyota 4Runner.
The driver of the Toyota swerved west to avoid the motorcycle and crossed over traffic lanes, but still collided with the rider, ejecting him from the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was transported to St. Mary Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation.
