One person was killed and two others were injured following a two-car crash on Columbus Parkway, south of Devlin Drive in Vallejo, on Sunday night, April 20, 2025.
According to the Vallejo Police Department, officers and firefighters responded to the scene around 9:43 p.m. and found one passenger trapped and unresponsive inside one of the vehicles. Despite life-saving efforts, the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers involved in the crash were transported to local hospitals. One of the drivers reportedly sustained serious injuries.
Authorities stated that evidence found at the scene suggests impairment may have contributed to the crash. Toxicology reports are pending, and additional information will be released following an autopsy.
The identity of the deceased victim is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. The investigation remains ongoing.
