A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash involving a minivan in Huntington Beach late Saturday night, April 12, 2025.
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the crash occurred around 11:00 p.m. near Arnett Drive and Irby Lane.
The bicyclist, who has not been identified, sustained significant injuries after being struck by a metallic gray, silver, or blue minivan.
The driver described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old, fled the scene without stopping to render aid or provide information.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey, with a California license plate that may contain the characters 7, T, A, and E, though not necessarily in order. Police believe the minivan likely has moderate front-end damage, including to the bumper, hood, and windshield.
