[04-10-2025] One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Ray Lawyer Drive and Placerville DriveOne person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ray Lawyer Drive and Placerville Drive in Placerville on Thursday morning, April 10, 2025.

According to Placerville Police officials, the crash occurred when the driver of a green SUV, heading eastbound on Placerville Drive, allegedly ran a red light and struck a gray Nissan in the intersection. Both vehicles had only one occupant.

The driver of the SUV was uninjured and remained at the scene. The driver of the Nissan was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

El Dorado County Fire and the Placerville Police Department responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
