[03-20-2025] Two People Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash on Pleasant Valley RoadTwo people sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Pleasant Valley Road east of Oxnard on Thursday morning, March 20, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Pleasant Valley and Wolff roads. A red Jeep Liberty traveling westbound collided with a silver Mitsubishi Montero heading eastbound for unknown reasons.

Both drivers, who were the sole occupants of their vehicles, suffered minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

At the scene, both vehicles sustained major front-end damage. The Mitsubishi was overturned on its side over a drainage culvert, while the Jeep came to a stop in the westbound lane.

The crash led to a temporary road closure in both directions for nearly 20 minutes. Authorities reopened one lane around 10 a.m. and alternated traffic flow for over an hour.

CHP officials stated that alcohol, drugs, and speed were not considered factors in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
