One person was killed and multiple individuals were injured after a crash on the 101 Freeway in Camarillo early Monday morning, March 17, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:00 a.m. near Carmen Drive. The circumstances leading to the collision remain unclear, but the incident took place under a freeway overpass.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and confirmed that one person was killed, while several others were reported injured. The severity of the injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Authorities have not provided an estimated reopening time for the westbound lanes.
