A two-vehicle head-on collision caused traffic delays on Highway 99 near Oswald, Sutter County, on Thursday evening, February 27, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 5:50 p.m. near Oswald Road on Highway 99.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and blocked at least one southbound lane as of 5:55 p.m.

It remains unclear if any injuries were reported, but CHP logs indicate that medics were requested at the scene.

Drivers experienced delays on Highway 99 due to the lane blockage.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the head-on collision.
