A driver was killed after crashing into the side of a semi-trailer on California Street, just south of West Park Avenue in Loma Linda, on Saturday night, February 22, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the collision occurred at approximately 9:46 p.m.

Emergency responders from Loma Linda Fire and AMR arrived at the scene and found the driver trapped inside the pickup truck.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters.

Authorities closed California Street between Citrus Avenue and West Park Avenue for an unspecified duration.

The identity of the deceased driver has not been released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation
