[02-17-2025] FedEx Truck Overturns on 60 Freeway, Driver InjuredA FedEx truck driver sustained injuries after the big rig overturned on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Hacienda Heights, Los Angeles County, late Monday night, February 17, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. on the westbound 60 Freeway at Hacienda Boulevard.

The big rig, which was pulling two trailers, overturned, and a white sedan crashed into the wreckage, causing the sedan to catch fire. Witnesses reported that the truck’s trailers and engine separated from the cab.

Emergency responders transported the truck driver to LA General Hospital for treatment of injuries. The condition of the sedan’s occupants remains unknown.

A hazardous materials crew was dispatched to clean up a 100-gallon diesel fuel spill caused by the crash.

The collision blocked all lanes except the HOV lane, where traffic was redirected. All lanes were cleared and reopened by 4:46 a.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
