[02-16-2025] Woman Killed in Suspected DUI Crash at Magnolia Avenue and BroadwayA 56-year-old woman was killed in a suspected DUI crash at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Broadway in Anaheim on Sunday night, February 16, 2025.

According to the Anaheim Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. when a 29-year-old driver of a white sedan traveling northbound attempted a left turn in front of the victim’s red Honda, which was heading southbound.

The victim, a Long Beach resident, was trapped inside her vehicle and required extrication by paramedics. She was transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities arrested the suspected DUI driver, identified as Samantha Farris of Buena Park, for felony DUI. Witnesses reported seeing her drinking alcohol at a nearby eatery before the fatal collision.

Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
