According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 11:12 a.m. when a silver Toyota rear-ended an older green Jeep. The reporting party noted that one of the drivers appeared disoriented following the collision.

Emergency medical personnel responded and transported one individual to an area hospital for treatment. A tow truck was requested for vehicle removal shortly after 11:20 a.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
