[01-26-2025] Driver Arrested For DUI After Crashing SUV Into Backyard On Windsor Drive, Causing Possible InjuriesA possible injury was reported, while a 30-year-old man from Petaluma was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI after crashing a Mercedes SUV into a backyard early Sunday morning, January 26, 2025.

The incident occurred around 3:50 a.m. on Windsor Drive. According to Petaluma police, the SUV struck a fence and two small trees before coming to rest in the backyard of a residence. Three people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Police reported that the driver showed signs of intoxication during their investigation. One of the passengers complained of pain following the collision, leading to the driver’s arrest on suspicion of felony DUI. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail.

The incident remains under investigation.
