[01-22-2025] Pedestrian Sustains Major Injuries In Tehachapi Crash On Highway 202A pedestrian sustained major injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 202 (West Valley Boulevard) near Cummings Valley Road in Tehachapi on Wednesday night, January 22, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:24 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene, temporarily closing the highway to allow a medical helicopter to land and transport the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and the current condition of the pedestrian is unknown.
