Authorities are searching for the motorist who struck and killed a 53-year-old woman in a hit-and-run crash on Sunday morning, January 19, 2025, in Menifee.
According to the Menifee Police Department, the collision occurred shortly before 7:00 a.m. on McCall Boulevard, west of Aspel Road.
The victim, identified as L. Delgado of San Bernardino, was reportedly walking in the westbound lanes when she was hit by an unknown vehicle traveling at an unconfirmed speed. The vehicle then fled the scene, while Delgado was found by another motorist lying in the corridor.
Paramedics from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Authorities have not provided a description of the suspect vehicle but are actively investigating to identify and locate the driver.
