Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who severely injured a 30-year-old pedestrian in the Canoga Park area of Los Angeles on Thursday evening, December 26, 2024.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows traveling eastbound on Vanowen Street struck the pedestrian at De Soto Avenue. The driver continued without stopping to render aid, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department transported the injured man to a local hospital, where he was treated for severe injuries.
The city of Los Angeles is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of hit-and-run drivers involved in injury cases.
