A two-vehicle collision in Saugus, Santa Clarita, resulted in at least one person being transported to the hospital on Friday afternoon, December 20, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Copper Hill Drive and Courtland Way.
One vehicle ended up on the sidewalk, while the other remained in the middle of the roadway. Emergency responders transported at least one person from the scene, though the exact number of injured individuals has not been confirmed.
Deputy Nicholas Hoslet with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station stated that the initial call came from a passerby, but the circumstances leading to the collision remain unclear.
One of the vehicles involved was seen being towed from the site. The incident is under investigation.
